ABOUT SYSTEMIZER

Built by practitioners. Grounded in operational experience.

Systemizer is an IASME-accredited Certification Body providing cyber assurance and certification readiness services to UK organisations. We were founded by senior infrastructure and security professionals with over 20 years of combined enterprise experience — people who have spent their careers implementing the controls that certification frameworks are built around.

WHO WE ARE

A specialist practice, not a generalist provider.

Systemizer was founded because there is a meaningful gap in the market between commodity certification resellers and large corporate consultancies. Organisations that need Cyber Essentials or IASME certification — and genuinely need to fix their security posture, not just tick a box — are consistently underserved by both ends of that spectrum.

We are a focused practice. We do one thing and we do it with rigour: help UK organisations understand their security posture, close the gaps, and achieve and maintain the certifications their clients, insurers, and regulators require. Our founding team has delivered this work at scale, inside some of the UK's most complex enterprise and public sector environments, long before Systemizer existed as a company.

That operational background shapes everything about how we work. We do not assess organisations against a framework and hand them a list of findings. We work alongside them — understanding their technology environment, their constraints, and their objectives — and then help them build the controls that certification requires in a way that is sustainable beyond the assessment date.

OUR BACKGROUND

20 years of enterprise security and infrastructure delivery.

The practitioners behind Systemizer have worked across infrastructure engineering, security architecture, IT operations, and compliance and audit functions in some of the UK's most demanding environments — spanning financial services, the public sector, defence, healthcare, and large enterprise organisations.

That breadth of sector experience matters in practice. The technical controls required by Cyber Essentials and IASME Cyber Assurance do not exist in a vacuum — they have to be implemented inside real technology environments, with real constraints, real legacy infrastructure, and real operational pressures. We have done that work at scale, across diverse environments, under audit conditions that are considerably more demanding than the certification frameworks we now help clients achieve.

Systemizer is a new company. We are transparent about that. But the experience behind it is not new — and that distinction matters when you are choosing a partner to represent your organisation's security posture to an assessor, a client, or a regulator.

OUR APPROACH

Honest assessment. Practical remediation. Sustainable certification.

Most organisations that come to us have one of two problems. Either they have attempted certification without adequate preparation and encountered a gap they did not anticipate. Or they have been through a process that delivered a certificate but left them no better equipped to maintain it.

Our model is built around a different sequence. We start with an honest assessment of your current posture against the relevant framework. We identify the gaps — technical, procedural, and documentary — and we work with you to close them before submission. The assessment that follows is a formality, not a risk.

That approach takes more time upfront. It also means that the certification you receive at the end reflects genuine security controls — which is what your clients, insurers, and regulators are relying on when they ask for it.
